What an automation build looks like, step by step.

Most repeat tasks don't need a software project. They need a clear map and the tools you already have.

Short answerAn automation build has five steps: watch how the task happens today, draw the new flow and agree the price, build it and connect it to your existing tools, test it with real data, then train the team and go live. Small workflows are live in weeks; bigger ones take what they need. It runs on accounts you own.

Step 1: watch the task

We sit with the person who does it and write down every step, every click, every 'and then I check'. Most tasks have a step nobody mentions until you watch.

Step 2: draw the new flow

Where does the work come in? What decides what happens next? Where does a human need to look? The new flow is drawn on one page. You approve it and the price.

Step 3: build and connect

The flow is built in an automation tool connected to your email, forms, CRM, calendar, accounting or inventory system. Some steps use AI to read a document or score an application. Most are plain: this happens, then that.

Step 4: test with real data

We run last month's real orders, applications or quotes through it and fix every place it breaks. Alerts are set for anything it isn't sure about.

Step 5: train and go live

The team learns what they stop doing. Documentation is written. The task runs on its own from here, with a monthly check to keep it that way.
